How I got a 2012 Mustang

Being one of the first people to order a 2012 Mustang was not something I had intended on doing. I ordered my car as a 2011 Ford Mustang, because it was not even 2011 yet.

Hold on, let's back up.

Why did I even have to order my car?

Thats an interesting point. I ordered my car because the car I wanted is not something they had just sitting on the lot. They searched the inventory from the entire United States to locate the exact car I wanted and they had no such luck.

A Black Mustang V6 Premium with the Performance Package and the MCA package is kinda rare.

By the way, here is an explanation of what is in the Performance Package for those of you that don't know.

2011 Mustang Performance Package upgrades include:
  • A 3.31 rear axle ratio for quicker off-the-line acceleration
  • Mustang GT coupe front and rear stabilizer bars
  • Mustang GT front struts and rear shocks/springs
  • Shelby GT500 rear lower control arm
  • Unique 19-inch wheels
  • Pirelli performance tires for improved grip
  • Mustang GT front and rear brake calipers with Performance Friction pads
  • A strut tower brace for increased body rigidity
  • Unique electronic stability control calibration with Sport mode for performance driving
  • Unique badging

I had no problem ordering my car, since I was not looking to settle for anything but exactly what I wanted.

Why did I get the Mustang V6 and not the 5.0?

I am 20. Case closed.

And no, my parents are not buying me a car. Work hard and get what you want. The end.
